Biotech investing is like dating a narcissist... full of promise, high-maintenance, and one bad result away from total collapse. BUT even “safe” sectors serve you humble pie when they feel like it.

Not in my circle of competence. But I have to say, there are a few with commercialized drugs and consistent revenues and a large enough pipeline that may be worth a look. I am talking about Amgen, Biogen or Genentech.

I have VRTX on the list of backlog of companies to analyze. After researching and writing my investment guides, I use them for analyzing stocks and historical analysis of bankrupt companies and large price declines. I don't even need to use my detailed analysis on cash-burning or tiny biotech stocks; it's a quick no.

Exactly. Investing in Biotechs isn’t worth the risk for me. There are too many unknowns, too many things that could go wrong.
