A global shift is happening in financial markets with an impact similar to personal computers in the 1980s.
There were two main contenders for the new technology back then: Apple and Microsoft. Apple had a superior operating system. MS DOS was crap.
Microsoft dominated the new technology, its stock rising 58,500% between 1985 and 2000. Apple stock did nothing most of the time.

Bill Gates secured a partnership with IBM. It was an old company that needed to reinvent. IBM massively boosted Microsoft’s market presence.
The rest is history.
A partnership between an old venerable corporation and a smaller company is a win-win. The smaller company develops a new technology while the old company capitalizes on helping it.
The 2020s version of this cooperation is Amazon’s partnership with Nasdaq Inc. They announced it in 2021 to bring the next generation of global infrastructure to capital markets.
The main winner will be Nasdaq. It’ll scale operations without building new data centers.
